We are Japan agent for WAB CORP (OFFSHORE) SAL, which is issuing ECTN (FERI) on behalf of OGEFREM (Office du Gestion du Fret Maritime of Republic of the Congo).
 

F.E.R.I. (Fiche Electronique de Renseignements à l’Importation) is a required certificate for all marine cargo going to D.R.Congo as final destination, regardless of port of discharge.

The regulation of F.E.R.I. is as follows:

* Each Bill of Lading has to be accompanied by a FERI.

* Each FERI has a specific number which must be indicated on B/L and Manifest.

* FERI must be issued before arrival at port of discharging.

* FERI must be presented to customs in D.R.Congo for clearing goods and without it, the cargo may not be

   released/penalty may be imposed.

* Import Restriction on Japanese Foods / Used vehicles

   FERI is NOT allowed to be issued for Japanese Food products, as well as Used vehicles older than 20 YEARS   

   from the first registration.

* Required Documents for application:

    - B/L (draft) copy  ( *Original B/L copy with FERI number on its body is required for FERI validation.)

    - Final Commercial Invoice copy

    - Export Declaration copy (Optional)

    - Export Certificate copy (For USED VEHICLES only)

    - Application Form  (Please request us via the form below.)

* Procedure:

    - Please send required documents to "ogefrem.japan@hship.co.jp"

                                               ↓
    - Invoice will be sent to you by e-mail from us.

                                               ↓
    - FERI Number & Draft will be created and sent to you by e-mail AFTER receiving payment in our account.

                                               ↓
    - Original FERI will be released upon confirmation of all data/receipt of copy of original B/L.
